Cates Clock Repair began in 2008 when founder Michael Cates discovered his passion for horology while restoring his great-grandfather's 1890s mantel clock. What started as a personal project in a small garage workshop has grown into one of the most trusted clock repair services in the United States.

From our headquarters in Prior Lake, Minnesota, we now serve customers in all 50 states, handling everything from simple quartz replacements to complex mechanical restorations of centuries-old grandfather clocks.
